Alan Shulman, FAIA is the editor of the book, which includes University of Miami faculty authors Rocco Ceo, Jean Francois Lejeune, Aristides Millas and Carie Penabad. Alumni contributors include Valerie Grassetti, Christina Miller, Karen Scheinberg, Kara Wood and David Woshinsky. Copy editor is Andrea Gollin. Shulman is principal of Shulman + Associates and an assistant professor at the University of Miami School of Architecture. He recently won the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation outstanding Achievement Award in the field of Restoration and Rehabilitation for the Chrysler Building on Miami Beach. In addition, he won a Merit Award of Excellence in the AIA/Florida 2009 Design Competition for the renovations and additions to the Angler’s Boutique Resort in Miami Beach.
