John Keenen and Terence Riley are the founders of K/R (Keenen/Riley) in New York City - a collaborative design practice with a broadly based commitment to architecture, design and urban planning. John Keenen received his masters degree from Columbia University. He has taught, lectured and exhibited his work at numerous academic institutions, including the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Terence Riley, educated at the University of Notre Dame and Columbia, is a curator, scholar and writer. He has lectured and taught at Harvard and other schools. From 1991 to 2005, he was the Chief Curator of the Department of Architecture and Design at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), and from 2006 until 2009 , he was the Director of the MIami Art Museum (MAM). He is a recognized leader in the design and development of cultural facilities and programs.
