Alan Shulman, FAIA is principal of Shulman + Associates and associate professor at the University of Miami School of Architecture. He recently won the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation outstanding Achievement Award in the field of Restoration and Rehabilitation for the Chrysler Building on Miami Beach. In addition, he won a Merit Award of Excellence in the AIA/Florida 2009 Design Competition for the renovations and additions to the Angler’s Boutique Resort in Miami Beach.
