Focusing on the works of Andrea Palladio in Venice and Vicenza, you’ll examine the work of those architects and artists who were part of the Renaissance in northern Italy. Experience the flowering of the Renaissance first hand.

  • learn about Renaissance theory through Palladio’s extraordinary architecture,
  • view the frescos by Giotto in the Scrovegni Chapel in Padova,
  • examine the influential works of Leon Battista Alberti and Giulio Romana.

This course is primarily intended for architecture graduate or undergraduate students.
