This study tour visits gardens in historical sequence from the early formal gardens influenced by French and Italian Renaissance gardens to later picturesque examples developed by the British. Included will be visits to Hampton Court, Chiswick House and other gardens in London and the city of Bath. Additionally, important sites in London will be visited.

All majors can benefit from the study of this unique period of history. No prerequisite or graphic ability is required.
