This travel study tour explores the most significant monuments, buildings, and public spaces of historical sites, towns, and cities of Spain. Spanish architecture is extraordinary from Roman ruins to Islamic mosques to medieval castles and churches. Spain provides a unique window on the history of architecture.

This program is intended for undergraduate and graduate students from the University of Miami and other universities. No prerequisite course is required. Academic activities include lectures, seminars, and visits to buildings and public spaces. Required work includes assigned readings, a course journal, and a final examination.
