Professional Experience:

Roberto Behar is co-founder with Rosario Marquardt of R & R Studios of Miami, an interdisciplinary studio devoted to bridging Art, Architecture and Urban Design. R & R Studios has realized urban and architectural projects in the United States, France, Mexico and Argentina. Among them; the landmark projects “M“ and “All Together Now“ in downtown Miami and Denver, the internationally acclaimed urban intervention “The Living Room“ and “Little Guatemala“ a 40 acres neighborhood in Florida City after hurricane Andrew. R & R Studios current work projects in Scottsdale, AZ; Asheville, NC; Guatemala, and India and exhibitions at the Bass Museum in Miami Beach and Museum of Contemporary Art in Madison, Wisconsin.

The work of Behar & Marquardt has been presented in museums and art galleries in the United States and abroad, including the Institut Francais d’Architecture in Paris, France, The Centrum voor Architectuur in Groningen, Holland, The Fondation pour l’Architecture and the Center International pour la Ville et l’Architecture, in Brussels, Belgium, the Miami Art Museum, the Neuberger Museum of Art in Purchase New York and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Denver.
