The DesignIntelligence Journal Ranks UM SOA in Top 20 Architecture and Design Schools 2012

February 6th, 2012 — In the latest issue of the DesignIntelligence journal of the Design Futures Council, the University of Miami School of Architecture ranks in the top 20 undergraduate architecture and design schools across the U.S., and 6th in schools in the South*. Additionally, the UM School of Architecture’s graduate program ranks 9th among schools in the South.

This ranking is the result of a survey conducted annually by the journal, which is published by the Design Futures Council. Selected architecture firms are asked to complete a questionnaire requesting that they identify which schools best prepare students for success in the profession.

DesignIntelligence is published by Greenway Communications LLC for the Design Futures Council, an interdisciplinary network of design, product, and construction leaders exploring global trends, challenges, and opportunities to advance innovation and shape the future of the industry and the environment. “The DFC is committed to advancing the AEC industry by providing information about future trends and issues.
