The American Institute of Architects (AIA) National Conference
June 30th, 2010 — This year’s American Institute of Architects (AIA) national conference was held in Miami Beach from June 10 – 12. Over 16,000 people were in attendance. School faculty and students hosted 12 sessions, two tours, and an alumni breakfast. Ten faculty made presentations — Andres Duany, Dean Plater-Zyberk, Allan Shulman, Jean-Francois Lejeune, Charles Bohl, Joanna Lombard, Sebastian Eilert, Adib Cure, Jaime Correa and Denis Hector. Sixteen students of our AIAS chapter participated. One of the tours, led by Allan Shulman, took place on the UM campus.
