Career Planning and Placement

In response to the many inquiries from the practicing architectural community, the Placement Division of the Academic Services Office serves as a link between students and employers. We provide students with the tools required for a comprehensive approach to career development and internship placement. Career Planning offers a series of programs directed at providing students with the skills necessary for productive job interviews. The placement staff assists students and alumni with workshops and seminars on interviewing, as well as on the design and assembly of portfolios and resumes. In early spring, an on-campus Architecture Career Fair, organized in conjunction with the Toppel Career Center, begins placing students in summer jobs or career internships as offices spend the evening conducting interviews.
