Academic Services
The Office of Academic Services is the School’s student support facility. The director and associates of the office provide assistance with advising, scheduling, and registration of courses, and act as student advocates with other University departments.
The Assistant Dean and Director works with five full-time assistants and four student assistants to coordinate all academic services for undergraduate and graduate students. These services include the coordination of academic records and services with other University offices, such as Admissions, Enrollment Services, Financial Assistance, Ombudsman, Counseling and Career Placement and Housing and Student Affairs.
The Director supervises records including alumni records and acts as a liaison to the school’s Alumni Council. The Director coordinates the Peer Counselor program, the Faculty Mentor and the Professional Alumni Mentor programs.
Academic Services also produces student and recruitment publications and the department’s web pages. Another assistant manages the use and maintenance of the School’s facilities.
